Entry to the competition is by short text only. Entrants must text the word ‘Chevron’ with their answer to 80039. Texts charged at normal SMS rate + £1.50. Check with your service provider for full costs. Ask bill payers permission before entering. Competition will close at 11.59pm on 14th April 2008. Texts received after this date will not be entered but may still be charged. To stop receiving promotional messages text ‘Chevron STOP’ to 80039. Winner will be notified within 24 hours of competition closing by phone. A voucher will be issued. Lessons must be started by 1st November 2008 and driver must have either a valid full or provisional driving licence for a manual car prior to 1st November 2008.
Prize consists of up to 30 hours tuition for a provisional licence holder plus their 1st attempt at the theory and practical test. If they fail their first attempt at either test, additional test fees will apply at the prevailing rate at that time. Additional test fees will be payable to the Driving Standards Agency. If 30 hours have been conducted, additional lessons will be charged at the prevailing Chevron Driving School Ltd full hourly lesson rate at that time. No cash alternative is offered. If 30 hours tuition are not needed no cash refund is offered. Chevron Driving School Ltd normal lesson terms and conditions apply. Late cancelled lessons (less than 48 hours) will be counted as a conducted lesson. Once lessons have started, lessons are not transferable
Alternative prize for full licence holder will be a 20 hour course of advance driving lessons including 1st advance driving test fee. The advanced driving test taken will be the DIAmond Advanced Test. If they fail their first attempt at the advance test, additional test fees will apply at the prevailing rate at that time. Test fees will be payable to the Driving Instructors Association. If 20 hours have been conducted, additional lessons will be charged at the prevailing Chevron Driving School Ltd full Advance tuition hourly lesson rate at that time. No cash alternative is offered.
